Math instruction includes arithmetic procedures and mathematical problem solving at each grade level. Automaticity with basic math facts for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are critical; students are then able to perform mental math with greater ease, perform increasingly difficult algorithms, access conceptual mathematical knowledge, and solve multi-step problems.

Math instruction in grades TK-8 is based around the Common-Core aligned Eureka Math curriculum. Eureka Math builds number sense, concepts of place value, and automaticity and incorporates arithmetic computation with problem solving. We supplement the program as appropriate to support struggling students and challenge advanced students.
